Sorosoro Ibaba Development Cooperative (SIDC) is a primary cooperative located at Sorosoro Ibaba, a peaceful barangay docked in the eastern part of fast-developing City of Batangas. At present, the cooperative has enlisted more than 8,059 regular and 10,480 associate members, most of them are residents of Sorosoro Area - a village composed of 4 barangays - Sorosoro Ibaba, Sorosoro Ilaya, Sorosoro Karsada and Tinga Itaas. Other members flock from 105 barangays of the City and other provinces in the region such as Panay Island, Mindoro, Quezon, Laguna, Rizal, Bicol, Nueva Ecija and Tarlac. It now employs 284 employees: 265 regular employees, 16 probationary employees and 3 commission-based employees. They compose a workforce that meets the job requirement of the coop with diligence and utmost care that complete them in flying colors.
SIDC shall be recognized as a world class cooperative empowering stakeholders for sustainable progressive life.
SIDC shall develop and offer competitive quality products and services, adopting technologically advance systems to build prosperous lives and strengthen the spiritual and social development of stakeholders.
